DAY 1 SOLITAIRE IN NAMIB DESERT

Full Day
Meals Included
Your guide will pick you up either from the airport or accommodation in Windhoek. You will drive down to the south of the country and reside at Solitaire. In 1948, Willem Christoffel van Coller bought 33,000 hectares of land from the Southwest Administration (the government of Namibia at the time) for farming Karakul sheep. It is in the middle of nowhere, and until today, you may get some good apple pie. You'll embark on a sundowner drive in a private nature reserve as an introduction to the Namib Desert.
