Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park features red dunes, abundant predators, and cross-border safari experiences in southern Botswana.

The Botswana section of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (KTP) makes up approximately three-quarters of the entire protected area and is known for its remote, wild character, requiring 4x4 vehicles for access.

• Immense Wilderness: The park is an unfenced area of approximately 38,000 square kilometres (15,000 sq mi), allowing wildlife to roam freely along ancient migration routes.
• Access & Mobility: The Botswana side is more remote, and most roads can only be traveled by 4x4. Entry is possible via the Two Rivers, Mabuasehube, and Kaa gates.
• Wildlife Hotspot: The sparse vegetation and dry riverbeds of the Auob and Nossob rivers create excellent game-viewing opportunities, where animals like black-maned lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds of springbok, gemsbok, and eland gather.

• Mabuasehube Pan Campsite: This area features a mixture of tree and shrub savanna with open grass patches. Campsites are basic with a braai area, pit latrine, and bucket shower.
• Mpayathutlwa Pan Campsite: Similar to Mabuasehube, these are basic, unfenced campsites.
• Polentswa Tented Lodge: A remote tented lodge option.
• Rooiputs Lodge: Another lodge option in the Botswana section.
